For the third night, curfew was imposed on Kashmir's two largest cities in order to deal with unrest resulting from the killing of six Sikhs. Religious violence continued in Karachi, Pakistan, as two more were killed by religious opponents. Religious violence continued in Bangladesh, with six dead and over a hundred injured.
