The Bosnian Serb government admitted that it had collaborated with local, and Yugoslav, firms to sell military equipment to Iraq. The two countries have had close relations since the 1991 Gulf War. 

US warplanes bombed air defense sites  in the south. This is the 52nd such attack made this year. In the last few months, that attacks have been more severe, and it is thought that the British and American warplanes are waging a stealthy campaign to destroy Iraq's air defenses.
